The Wiz
The musical that puts a contemporary African-American perspective on "The Wizard of Oz" will be presented Sept. 17-19 in the John Legend Theater. Directed by Debbie Blunden-Diggs, artistic director of the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company.
The Laramie Project
This documentary play explores the reactions of the residents of Laramie, Wyoming, to the brutal murder of a young gay man, Matthew Shepard. Directed by Lorrie Sparrow-Knapp, the play will be performed Nov. 12-14, in the John Legend Theater.
Under S for Sucker
Springfield resident Peggy Hanna wrote this original play based on her years of experiences as a foster parent. Directed by Rebecca Baker and to be performed March 4-6 in the John Legend Theater.
Be More Chill
A sci-fi musical that follows a nerdy teen who swallows a supercomputer pill to achieve instant popularity, only to find that it's AI is taking over his life. Directed by Ryan Ramirez. Performances May 13-15 in the John Legend Theater.
